First Visit
Initial Visit With Effective Integrative Healthcare
When you arrive at EIH, you will be greeted by our front desk assistants. They will guide you through any remaining paperwork and thoroughly explain your insurance benefits and fees. All of our front desk assistants are well versed in insurance, work, and auto claims and can answer any questions at this time. Once all of the paperwork is complete one of our Doctors of Chiropractic will review your paperwork and begin your consultation.
Tips
We do offer an online service for completing your paperwork ahead of time to reduce your in office time and will email that link to you when you make your appointment. Forms can also be printed from the website.
Patient’s involved in an auto accident or work injury have about 20-30 minutes worth of paperwork to fill out for the insurance companies and it is recommended you arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to your appointment time or utilize the print at home or online option to have it done before you arrive to save time.
In most cases, treatment will be offered the same day, so wear comfortable clothing and anticipate about an hour in the office from start to finish.
Previous Medical History and Initial Examination
In order to diagnose what may be causing the reason for your visit, the doctor will ask various questions around what you are experiencing. At that point, other tests may be performed.
X-Ray
X-rays may be taken to help us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Our goal is to get you feeler better as fast as possible while providing the greatest level of care.
Same Day Treatment
After the initial evaluation and additional testing are completed, we may recommend some same day therapies which could involve physical therapy, stretching, and even an adjustment to have you on the mend quicker.
Instructions for Aftercare
Before you leave our offices, you will receive a take-home packet that could include stretches to perform at home and various other recommendations in between visits.
